It’s been 2-years since NVIDIA released a new GPU, yeah we had a super GPU released last year but it was just a speed bump of the RTX-2000 series of 2018. PC gamers have been waiting for a long for this 3000-series, after hearing rumours about its performance and a week before the wait was over. NVIDIA has continuously shown leadership virtually in every segment and discrete gaming performance.
The RTC-3000 series consists of three GPUs. This kind of graphic cards naturally means that PC’s are gonna cost more than your right/left kidney. Even though we have not yet given an estimate of the PS5 or Xbox series x I can assure you that in future PC’s are gonna cost more than that of consoles. I’m going to assume that neither of them is gonna cost you more than $500. For that price and a few more dollars added we can build a gaming PC. Still, you're getting a PC rather than just a gaming machine. Nowadays we need some kind of device like PC/Laptops to work in a remote area. Like what are you gonna do with a gaming machine when in a remote area and when work comes up, boom you're done, a personal computer is a necessity and throwing in some good GPU on top of it will get to do it a double duty. RTX-3000 series is not only versatile for gaming but it can also be versatile for another kind of stuff like 3d object development, CAT, game designing, etc.
PC ports of AAA multiplatform games used to be a complete crapshoot, but they are massively improved from the PS3 and the Xbox360 days, even if there are some problems from time to time. And still, there are some notable problems and Red Dead Redemption 2 comes to mind, yet you can get most of the games on the lunch day, but more importantly, you have access to pirated games unlike in console you don’t have to spend 100’s of dollars of a single game.
NVIDIA took advantage of a moment where there remains a ton of uncertainty surrounding next-gen consoles to hype up new cards at aggressive prices and it seemed to have worked so far. But I’m not sure this will hurt either the Xbox Series X or PS5 but it was a great move by NVIDIA to improve PC gamers, people were waiting for an opportunity to shift sides and have a new kind of experience and was given perfectly. And NVIDIA fans eagerly wait to bring home their new GPU and all we can do is just sit and listen to their reviews.
