Meditation:Your mind is the key to solve all your problems

                     Everyone has learned some new hobby during this lockdown. I’d like to share one of my newly equipped/learned hobby, more of a hobby I could call it a skill and it’s “Meditation”.

                      You may earn a lot have a great career ahead or even an owner of a multi-million dollar company, but still living in a state of depression, stress or anxiety? A person in such a state can’t achieve what he was meant to or want to. The only solution for a person in such a condition is “Meditation”.

                      Finding peace in the chaos of life has become really difficult nowadays. Especially for those you maintain/manages both their personal and work life. That’s were meditation helps you, In as little as 5mins a day it gives your body mentally and physically some rest(free of thoughts).                      The benefits of meditation are far beyond relaxation and are clearly explained in this article.

                      Even 5mins of daily meditation improves your body’s immunity system and keeps your heart healthy. During meditation, you keep your mind stable and free from thoughts, which lower your blood pressure, reduces stress and strengthens your immunity system.

                       Meditation helps you control your mind and boost your intelligence. Regular practice of meditation is like an exercise for your brain to work more actively. After learning/ adapting this habit I’ve become more aware of my thoughts and started to control my emotions(This might just be the beginning phase). Scientists suggest that continuing this activity will help you take control over subtle areas in the brain. The ability to overcome your fears, the ability to completely silence the mind, the ability to learn a new skill and the ability to reach a blissful state can be achieved through meditation.

                        Rather than thinking about the future or past meditation allows you to focus on the present. It is a great deal because most of us are still thinking about our future or ruminating about the past and literally fail to enjoy the present.

                       Meditation technique can literally cause changes to some of our brain’s activities. One study has proved that significant meditation for a period of 10weeks can improve your left brains activity. Meditation helps you reveal the absolute truth about yourself. Some forms of meditation help you develop a stronger understanding of yourself and helps to grow into your better self. During the time of meditation, the brain helps you recognize negative thoughts within yourself.

                          Meditation improves your attention/concentration and keeps your mind young i.e: no more memory loss. Reduces stress and hence reduces anxiety. Meditation also helps you control your pressure/ tension in your work environment.

                           Unlike other exercises meditation is easy you don’t need to be surfing through thousands of videos and websites to find one to try. All you need to do is just sit down close your eyes and just breath in through the nose and out through the mouth for the next 10 mins.  In my next article, I’ll tell you some of the types and techniques of meditation.
