Habits may involve/entail simple acts that have enormous power. Habits are the outcome of doing things over and over until we no longer have to think about doing them.
I get it it’s hard to get rid of bad habits, but when it comes to building healthy and ethical habits even small decision adds up over time.
Developing good habits can take time but bad habits can be developed easily and that’s because enjoyable habits prompt your brain to release “Dopamineâ€. Dopamine is the reward that strengthens the habit and creates the strong desire to do it again. To know more about how to train your mind to release dopamine while performing good habits I recommend you to read these “Atomic habits – By James Clear†and read books written by Stephen R. Covey if you are not much of a book reading guy at least read this article for 10 mins so you might least get a discernment of what I’m telling you Habits of Successful People.
Now I’m going to tell you 5 Habits that will change your way of life once and for all:
#1 Exercise

By now if you still didn’t know the benefits of exercising regularly, well all I can say is that you’ve been living under a rock.
Struggling to sleep? Regular physical activity can help you fall asleep faster and might give you deep sleep. If you exercise at home just don’t exercise too close to bedtime or you may be too energized to go to sleep.
Just about everyone overestimates the amount of effort required to get results. Sometimes as simple as cardio exercises for like an hour every day has been shown to give vast health improvements and trigger weight loss.
Therefore, if you want to start a training program, simply start. Worry about the pistol squads with your personal trainer later.
#2 Meditation

Morning Meditation has always a part of successful people. The benefits of meditation are famous and numerous: improved self-awareness, reduction of stress and anxiety, improved sleep, and can also be used as a form of therapy.
Meditation is one of the hardest things I’ve personally ever tried, but part of the problem is we think meditation is just sitting still with our eyes closed for an hour or two thinking about nothing, it is quite right but not completely it is more about being mentally present at the moment. Well, an example for this will be “Online Classes†students are physically present but mentally they are absent (i.e: physically looking at the class mentally thinking about other stuff). But meditation helps you be mentally present at the moment even while you're brushing your teeth.
Start with the practice of traditional meditation (i.e: “transcendental meditation†or “vipassana meditationâ€) which is quite easy. Even as little as one minute per day can show greater health benefits. I recently discovered a mobile application called headspace that guides and helps beginners to make meditation a daily part of their life.
If you find it difficult as many people do, find a local group or class. There are different types of classes like meditation for anxiety for sleep and so on, so choose your own style of meditation.
There are often free ones in many metropolitan cities. It is also a nice way to meet people and you get to socialize. And once you get the hang of it try it on your own. Start with a minute or two and then start working your way up.
#3 Reading

Reading is just magical. It’s is the only thing in the world that allows you to live in the mind of another person, reading is the closest thing we’ve got to telepathy.
Studies suggest that people who read regularly have the ability to understand things in a better way. They care about other people more, they relate and respond to others better. People who read regularly are just smarter and well-informed about the world.
No matter how much stress you have either at work or at your home or personal problems or any other issue you face in daily life, it just slips away when you lose yourself in a great book.
Everything you read stays in your brain forever and we might never know when it might come in handy. The more knowledge you have the better equipped you are to tackle any problem life throws at you.
When developing a reading habit start with books that seems easy and interesting to you, then slowly branch out. If you like books about personal finance, economics even though your just a 10-year old kid read personal finance books. If you like books about zombies read more zombie books.
And another tip: “If you aren’t enjoying a book, Just stop reading It†no one is forcing you to complete a book that you don’t even enjoy.
I meet so many people who push themselves to the end of a book even though they aren’t enjoying or learning from it. Because they feel bad if they don’t finish a book which they started. That’s Crazy right.
My rule of thumb is when I start reading a book, I force myself to read the first 30-40%. And if I don’t like it by the end of that, I put it down and move on to the next book.
#4 Writing

If reading allows you to inhabit other people’s minds for a period of time, learning to write is like cleaning your house before guests come over- it forces you to learn how to structure your thoughts more coherently, string together rational arguments ad tell stories in cogent and insightful ways.
Some of the easiest ways are to start report writing, copywriting, writing business letters, and finally argumentative essay. I’ve arranged it in an easy to hard way to I recommend you to practice this.
The important thing is to not limit yourself. Use writing as a tool of self-discovery- write your feelings, ideas, fantasies.
Warren Buffett once said “Improving your reading and writing skill will increase your worth by at least 50%â€
#5 Socializing

I know it sounds painfully obvious. But having friends is serious. I think many of us if we slow down long enough to take a look at ourselves, don’t give our relationship the time or attention necessary to keep them healthy and happy.
It turns out loneliness is kind of a hard spot. It’s growing at an alarming rate in India, particularly among teens. And new research has discovered that being alone can be just as bad for your physical and mental health as obesity or heavy smoking.
Something that you can do is make a point to talk to a different friend every single day.
Now when I say talk, I mean “Talk Talk†and not on social media sites ( Look at the impact of social media on youth). Just call them or meet them face to face and take about how was his day, and it’s literally going to cost you like 15-20 mins at most.
You’ll be surprised by how easy it is to connect with many people. And you’ll be much happier about it.
