Musician, Rock legend, and a co-founder of Pink Floyd during a protest in London read out an offer letter from Mark Zuckerberg requesting to use his song Another Brick In The Wall Part-2 for one of his Instagram advertisements.
And also told the public that Facebook tried to offer him a huge huge sum of money, and my reply to Facebook is “F___ you. No F___in’ way â€!
The rock legend also stated that he only mentions this because this is an insidious movement of them to take over absolutely everything. And that he won’t be a part of this BS.
The song was first released in 1979 on one of Pink Floyd’s “The Wall†album. Apart from being a song themed against abusive schooling the song is often considered as a counter-culture manifesto against the depersonalization of an individual in society.

Waters also talked about “Facemash†the website created by Mark during his early days in Harvard to rate the looks of people. And stated how did we give power to this little prick who started out as ‘He/She pretty let's give her a 4 out of 5, and He/She’s ugly let's give her a 2 out of 5’. And ended the session by stating the Mark is one of the most powerful idiots in the world.
Facebook has not given out any formal statement about the offer or Waters comments yet.
